The day before the wedding, I put 18" extentions in Maria's hair (bride's) to help get some more fullness and length for her wedding do. I did a simple half up straightened style for her rehearsal dinner after putting in the extensions. I also highlighted the extensions to match the color to her hair before putting them in.

Wedding Bells (Ohio) - Cont.
In addition to the doing the bride's hair, I completed three other updos on three of the bridesmaids. Below are some photos.
Wedding Bells (Ohio)
My friend from college, Maria, got married in mid-June. I traveled back to Ohio to help enhance her beauty on her wedding day. I did her hair half up with pin curls since she loved how her hair looked down with her wedding dress. I used a new product called liquid texture by White Sands, which held the curls even after riding in the car with the windows down and a full night of dancing.
Short Cut and Kids' Cuts
Cole's Cause
I participated in a fundraiser at my school (GIC) in June called Cole's Cause. Many students volunteered their time to cut clients' hair. All the proceeds went to Cole, an 11 year old boy who will be able to walk for the very first time at age 11 after his upcoming surgery. This was a great event to take part in to help others in the community. Below is one of the client's hair that I cut to give it a nice shape, but to keep most of the length. Many layers were added and the ends were texturized to help make here curls spring up.

Locks of Love
What a wonderful gift to give to a child suffering from hair loss! Approximately 13 inches was donated to Locks of Love by a woman from the Augusta area. This was her seventh time donating to this great cause. Thank you to all who make this contribution to help children with hair loss build their self esteem and confidence.
